Graphic artist and photographer Emil Kozak is originally from Denmark but currently based in Barcelona, Spain. Emil Kozak has been described as a master of composition with an uncommon eye for detail.

The opening night is on the night of the Antwerp Art Nocturne
from Thursday 15 march 2012, 18.00 to 22.00.

Having become internationally recognized as the likes of Vans, Element, Graniph, Eastpak, Burton, Channel Islands, Nike, Lab Skateboards & Uniqlo - to name but a few – have lined up to decorate their products with his designs, Emil Kozak remains true to his original motivation. "I hope that my work can remind us that imagination can defy gravity and bend time. It is our own responsibility to enjoy every second of the day. Nobody else can do that for us. Have fun, eat candy, do what you love, love what you do… We might get thrown off this spinning ball of iron and mantle tomorrow."

In stark contrast, Emil Kozak’s photography communicates a whole different emotion, capturing the essence of the slower pace of Spanish life. A reminder that life is a continual adventure.

In ‘Faded Rainbows‘ he will show a mix of different techniques and media; paint, silkscreen, photography, skateboards, markers, digital etc.

The exposition runs from 15/03/2012 to 27/04/2012.
visits only on Friday from 14.00 to 17.00
